Criminals should be careful now, because Bihar Police will use new technology to crack down on criminals under three new laws. This technology is called Fingerprint Data Base. Its specialty is that when it is matched with the fingerprint database of arrested persons across the country, the complete details of the real criminal will be visible. Fingerprints of all arrested persons are available in it. And it is applicable in every district of Bihar.

Fingerprint Nafis Database how will it work

The fingerprint of every arrested person will be recorded in the NAFIS database. This will allow the fingerprint bureau to quickly match the fingerprints found at the crime scene. After matching, the complete details of the real criminal will be visible in the fingerprint database of arrested persons across the country. This will mainly help in solving the crime and getting the accused punished.

False accusation based on statement will be banned

Along with the provision of Mobile Forensic Science Unit in every district, forensic science experts have also been deputed. Now, in case of serious incidents, the Forensic Unit will reach the crime scene immediately with experts and equipment and collect photography, videography, fingerprint and other scientific evidence, which will strengthen the justice system and the culprits will be punished. This will also prevent false accusations based on statements.

Evidence and witnesses will be able to appear in court quickly through audio or video

Every police officer is being provided with a smartphone and laptop. With this, they will be able to record videography, photography of the crime scene and the statements of the victim and witnesses through audio or video and present them in the court quickly.
